Being born in Chicago, I think I have pizza sauce in my blood. I now live in Phoenix and can't seem to find a decent pizza place. So, I'm putting it out there to see where you can find a great slice, or even a good pizza story!

It's hard to find really good pizza in Phoenix, especially on the west side. Here's a few that may be worth a try:
Spinato's (some say it is the best pizza in Phoenix)

I'm in the East Valley. In my opinion it's gotta be Nello's (Chicago style!). Recently found out they're not all the same (crust and sauce vary at each Nello's location). Best to make the trek to Nello's in Mesa! See you there!

It's stiff to find actually good pizza in Phoenix, in particular on the west side. Here's a few that may be value a try. Nothing is impossible.

I have heard that Grimaldi's Pizza is good. I have not tried the one in Phoenix, but I have eaten at the one in NYC. It was so good, I went back another time.

Grimaldi's is good in Scottsdale. If you are going to a Dbacks game try Pizza Bianco at Heritage Square. It has won national awards-but it is a P-A-I-N to get a reservation. We finally ate there and it was really great.
